Not all home care is the same. At Helpful Hearts, what sets us apart is simple: we were founded and are led by two experienced mental health nurses.
That clinical background shapes everything we do. It means we're comfortable supporting people whose needs go beyond everyday help – including those living with mental health conditions, dementia, learning disabilities and other complex or long-term needs – as well as providing warm, reliable personal care and companionship.
It also shapes how we work. We assess carefully, build person-centred care plans, and pay close attention to things like medication, changes in wellbeing and communication. And because we understand how much consistency matters, we work hard to keep a small, familiar team of carers around each person.
Above all, we believe good care is personal. We take the time to understand what matters to each individual, treat people with respect, empathy and dignity, and adapt as needs change – always with the goal of helping people live well and independently in the place they know best: their own home.
Helpful Hearts provides home care across Stoke-on-Trent and the surrounding areas of Staffordshire, and we're registered with the Care Quality Commission. To arrange a free, no-obligation assessment, call 07308 887488 or email welcome@helpfulhearts.uk.
